Where it comes from
Every one of these is Rachell “Mama Row” Hudson’s recipe. Her son Jonathan makes them now, in small batches, the way she did — butter, sugar, condensed milk, vanilla, and nothing else in the caramel.
The names are hers too. Baby-Bye. Ah-Shucky-Shucky-Now. Lil QTs. We kept them because that’s what she called them.
